  • – Voltage: 208V, 240V, 480V, and 600V.

  • – Currents up to 6000 Amps.
  • – Three Phase 3 Wire, or Three phase 4 Wire systems
  • – Frequencies: 50Hz or 60 Hz

– Welded construction, steel fabrication assemblies
– Indoor NEMA 1
– Outdoor NEMA 3R (Gasket and sealed for leak protection)
– Metal Clad or Metal Enclosed designs
– Louver openings for adequate ventilation
– Removable covers and plates for incoming cables or future extensions
– Pad lockable doors
– Additional accessories

Metal Clad or Metal Enclosed Switchgear

– Comprised of compartmentalized sections.

– Draw-out circuit breakers, shutters.

– Supplied with front and rear access.

– Bus structure is typically insulated.

– Higher cost than metal-enclosed gear.

– Not compartmentalized

– Does not employ draw-out devices, or shutters

– Supplied with front and rear access

– Bus structure is typically not insulated

– Load isolating switches (fusible or non-fusible) are often used.
